My client was charged wtih a class X felony offense of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault. He had to post 10k bond to be released from jail. The case had definite weaknesses in it. I presented them to the State and the prosecutor eventually agreed to reduce the charge to a class 4 felony offense. After he completes two years of probation the charge will be reduced further to misdemeanor Domestic Battery. My client made the decision to accept the offer I negotiated for him.
